I had to apply to real jobs this weekend. The scariest part is that I’m quite smart, have two degrees, and may actually get a call back. Most people during this horrible economic crises, would give their right arm for a job. All I want to do is sing. But not just sing, but support myself, my family, and my dreams through this. I have a mantra that I say to myself every morning about where I see myself in life, and this “job” thing, is certainly not in it. I’ve always worked hard. I will continue to work hard. I’ve had full-time, real world jobs before. I guess this is just a small bump in the road for this girl who only dreams of music.
