Really?
This is a pure matter of fact: Outside of the shower, beauty salon, and selected water aerobics classes at the Y, there is NEVER an excuse to wear a shower cap in any public forum. Case in point; I went to a really nice Japanese Hibachi restaurant with friends this past weekend. A woman seated just a grill away, sat with a large group of her friends with a shower cap on (See Included Re-enactment Photo). Even though it was the last night of our first seasonal Noreaster, there was still absolutely no excuse. It’s embarrassing, and of course, she just had to be black. What about pride? What about friendship? Why didn’t one of her companions tell her about herself? There are so many forms of acceptable headgear. Why a bargain bin variety clear shower cap? What happened to umbrellas? Really?
